Make A Wish Foundation
Last Sunday my son, Craig, competed in a Sprint Triatalon here in Cleveland. His race was done on behlaf of Make A Wish, and he collected $ 6000 in donations to provide a complete "Wish" for a childs memories. Craig, has been involved with Make A Wish for close to 10 years and I am just encouraging any and all to donate to this worthwhile charity. below is how you can do so.

Craig has been donating his frequent flyer points every 6 months or so too (http://www.makeawishohio.org/giving/frequentflyer.html). . Ill have maybe 10 AirTran points after September, but that wont really. Theres no tax deduction, but its a nice free way to help them make a wish happen.

New AMPFlasherTM ACI Current Indicators with Remote LED
NK Technologies' has added a new model to its line of ACI current indicators. The AMPFlasherTM ACI-0.5-P adds the option of a remote LED on 12" pigtails for remote indication. This compact AC sensor is easily installed by slipping the sensing ring over the conductors feeding a load and snapping the remotely-mounted, flashing LED into the enclosure cover. Ideal for use in control panels, where space is limited, or wherever confirmation of current flow is desired. The AMPFlasherTM ACI current indicator offer a simple, safe, and inexpensive way to quickly and clearly see live current carrying conductors.
Altech now has rectangular connectors
Altech has recently added a new, improved line of Rectangular Connectors. This product will mate with other like, competitive, connectors in the Market. We offer both the Metric and NPT Threads. As of today, they have over 400 pieces of each part number in their NJ stock. As is Altech's norm, these are very cost effective products.

ERICO Brings Custom Braid to Solon Ohio
Custom Braids is a product that ERICO has manufactured through other sources in the past. Now they have made the investment to bring in additional resources and will be manufacturing Braids in the US Headquarters in, Solon Ohio. This will be up and running during the first quarter 2009. Deliveries are planned to be 3 weeks after approval drawing sign off. We look forward to your RFQ's.
Custom Terminal Block tags $ .07 each, $ 100 min
Seagate Controls has bought a Plotter System with the plan to do Custom Altech Terminal Block tags at $ .07 each. All that is needed is an Exxcel list of the numbers and they can provide the tags. DIN Rail assemblies that Include the Altech components are also available.
ERICO Gets UL 758 on Flexibar
June 2008, ERICO, ERIFLEX Division announced that they have acquired UL 758, for Appliance Wire replacement. This should really help the UL 508A shops.
ERICO Passes 100 KA Short Circuit on Power Distribution Blocks
ERICO has had a 3rd party certification done on their Power Distribution Blocks. The PD Blocks were mounted on DIN rail and mounted adjacent to one another. UL has said that they will complete their study by mid January 2007. More to follow as soon as UL has completes their documentation.
Recently the 150 and 200 amp Power distribution blocks have also passed the UL SCCR test. We are all awaiting the documentation.
Molded Buss Bars for UL 489 Branch Circuit Breakers
Altech has introduced a new line of Molded Buss Bars for the Mini Circuit Breakers.
In addition they are now have cataloged a new product called (ADP) Altech Power Distribution. ADP is a Power Distribution system for panels. This lets the Wireman drop a variety of power feeds throughout the Control Panel.
Altech has a full line of DIN mounted Power Supplies
Altech has added to their Power Supply line to include a " Slimline product" from 20 to 60 watts ( 100 watt is coming soon). In addition they offer a Metal cased line from 75 to 960 watts, with Single and 3 phase models.
